Food Ministry

Proverbs 22:9 “A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.”

     Grace Baptist Church has been doing a food ministry for several years.  The angel Food Ministry was a blessing for so many people, inside and outside of our church.  We reached many people in our community.

     When Angel Food dissolved, Jimmy and I prayed for God to show us how we could continue to reach out to our neighbors and show the love of Christ.  This ministry has always been dear to our hearts.  To see people so grateful, for what most of us take for granted, is a true blessing.

     As well as feeding their bodies, we also try to feed their spirit.  We pray with every family that we deliver food to.  Their acceptance of this gesture shows they are hungry for more than food.

     In November and December, we delivered 30 holiday boxes to families, who otherwise may not have had a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal.

     We are so thankful for all of you who donate to this ministry.  You don’t realize how many people you reach with your generosity.  THANK YOU!
